New Balance’s enduring 9060 is the sneaker that just won’t die, which is good news for fans of the chunky, Y2K-inspired silhouette. While many of the brand’s lifestyle models are frequently shuffled in and out of production, the 9060 has held on as a staple of the brand’s lineup nearly four years after its retail debut. Now, it’s getting refreshed for summer.
The New Balance 9060 was just launched in several new styles including two incredibly summer-friendly looks in White/Apollo Gold (style code U906089D) and White/Shadow Red (style code U90603MT). In addition to their seasonally apropos colors, the latest 9060 drops also employ a heavy use of breathable mesh throughout the uppers, making them especially suited for summertime heat.

Both pairs are predominantly white with soft suede accents in gray on the Apollo Gold makeup and cream on the Shadow Red style. The Apollo Gold adds green structural overlays, while the Shadow Red opts for black.
In addition to the color-accented white-based looks, New Balance also issued two colorways of the 9060 that fans may want to stash until fall in Breakfast Tea/Angora (style code U90603EG) and Timberwolf/Black Cement (style code U90606H1).
