Halle Berry experimented with out-of-the-box footwear and head-to-toe color coordination on Thursday when she stepped out in New York City wearing a full red and black McQueen ensemble.
Berry showcased the brand’s Lexie Slingback in antiqued black leather which was contrasted by a red insole. The style featured a sole which narrowed into a square in front aligning with the upper to create a peep toe opening. The high-vamp upper featured silver eyelets and waxed laces with silver metal aglets. The style was finished with a slingback strap and a 105 mm glossy curved heel reimagining the brand’s signature Horn Heel. The Lexie Slingback retails for $1,290 from McQueen.

Berry donned her McQueen shoes to pick up a matching set from the brand. She appeared to be wearing an asymmetric strapless top and midi skirt in red and black crêpe de chine showcasing an all-over floral design. The shirt featured gathered detailing along the side while the skirt was detailed with slashes and sheer lace panels. To complete the look, Berry wore a floral-patterned cardigan in the same color palette.
When selecting footwear, Berry might pick from a range of designers. In February she stepped out in Jude’s Kiss pump while in September she modeled Gucci’s Signora slingback pump in beige and in June she wore Saint Laurent’s La Scandale sandal in gold.
